Egypt

I am sitting in Cairo, Egypt, in a room with 30 leaders from twelve Arab countries. We are spending 48 hours together to explore how evangelism and mission can become a part of the culture in these churches. For Brita and me, it's always exciting to meet new nations and leaders. We learn from them and can share what we have learned and experienced ourselves.
We are realizing how our family story and our experiences are becoming a blessing to the nations. These leaders are heroes, just like their churches. In the midst of persecution and pressure, they live out their faith in Jesus.
Let us pray for the Arab world, so that we may witness the birth of many churches—churches that come from individual Christians multiplying and forming groups. Groups that multiply become churches, and churches that multiply become movements.
Tomorrow we’re heading three hours south to give a training in Al Minya. On Saturday, we’ll return to Marseille.
